Terms of Service

1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all transactions between Anita Printers ("we", "us", "our") and the client ("you", "your"). By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order will apply to that transaction.

2 Orders & Quotations

Quotations

All quotations provided by Anita Printers are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, subject to availability of materials. Quoted prices are based on the specifications provided at the time and may change if your requirements change.

Order Confirmation

A job enters production only after all of the following are received:

• Written order confirmation from the client (email is acceptable)
• Approved print-ready artwork (see Section 3)
• Required advance payment (see Section 5)
• Signed proof approval where applicable (see Section 4)

Minimum Orders

Minimum order quantities apply to certain print products. Our team will confirm minimums at the quotation stage.

3 Artwork & Files

Client-Supplied Artwork

You are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork that meets our technical specifications (available in our Print Specifications Guide). Accepted formats include PDF, AI, PSD, EPS, TIF, and ZIP archives.

• Files must be supplied in CMYK colour mode at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
• Bleed of 3mm and safe zone of 5mm from the trim edge are required for all bleed designs.
• All fonts must be embedded or converted to outlines.

Artwork Review

We conduct a basic pre-press check on all supplied files for technical compliance. This check does not include reviewing spelling, grammar, or design accuracy — the client remains fully responsible for content correctness.

Artwork Prepared by Anita Printers

Where we provide design or artwork services, the agreed scope will be confirmed in writing. Artwork created by us remains our intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point usage rights transfer to you.

4 Proofs & Approval

For most jobs, we provide a digital PDF proof for your approval before going to press. For colour-critical work, we recommend a physical hard-copy proof (charged separately).

• Production begins only after you provide written approval of the proof.
• Once a proof is approved, any errors — including typos, colour issues, or layout problems — become the client's responsibility.
• Changes requested after proof approval may result in additional charges and production delays.
• We accept no responsibility for errors in the final print if you waive the proof stage.

5 Payment Terms

Standard Terms

• New clients: 100% advance payment before production commences.
• Established clients (with agreed credit terms): 50% advance; balance due on delivery or collection.
• Corporates with purchase orders: As per individually negotiated credit terms, not exceeding Net 30 days.

Accepted Payment Methods

• Bank transfer / NEFT / RTGS (preferred)
• UPI
• Cheque (subject to clearance before production)
• Cash (at our studio, for orders up to ₹50,000)

Late Payment

Overdue invoices beyond agreed credit terms may attract interest at 1.5% per month. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of completed goods until full payment is received. Persistent non-payment may result in suspension of credit facilities.

6 Production & Turnaround Times

Turnaround times quoted are estimates based on current production capacity and commence only after all conditions in Section 2 (order confirmation, approved artwork, advance payment) are met.

• Standard turnaround: 5–7 working days for most print products.
• Rush jobs may be accommodated subject to capacity and will attract a surcharge.
• Turnaround times do not include delivery transit time.
• We are not liable for delays caused by client-side delays in artwork delivery or proof approval.

We will communicate proactively if we anticipate any delay to your committed delivery date.

7 Delivery

Delivery Options

• Collection from our studio at Vadgaon Sheri, Pune (free of charge)
• Local delivery within Pune (charges apply; quoted separately)
• Courier delivery across India (charges apply; quoted separately)

Risk & Title

Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon collection or handover to a courier. We are not responsible for damage or loss occurring during transit; we recommend you arrange appropriate insurance for high-value shipments.

Delivery Discrepancy

Any shortage or damage to delivered goods must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of receipt. Claims made after this period may not be entertained.

8 Quality & Claims

We take pride in the quality of every job we produce. If the finished product materially deviates from the approved proof due to a production error on our part, we will reprint the job at no additional cost, or offer a credit at our discretion.

• Trade tolerance of ±10% on quantities is standard in the printing industry; we will invoice for actual quantities delivered.
• Minor colour variation within industry-accepted tolerances (ΔE < 5 on calibrated equipment) does not constitute a defect.
• Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence and samples.
• We do not accept returns of correctly produced printed goods.

9 Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges apply based on the stage of production at the time of the request:

• Before artwork submission: No charge (advance refunded in full).
• After artwork approval but before press: Up to 25% of order value to cover setup costs.
• After press commences: Up to 75% of order value.
• After production is complete: 100% of order value; goods will be available for collection.

Changes to artwork, quantity, or specifications after order confirmation may result in revised pricing and extended turnaround times.

10 Intellectual Property

You warrant that you own or have the legal right to reproduce all content, images, logos, and text provided to us for printing. You indemnify Anita Printers against any claims arising from intellectual property infringement in materials supplied by you.

We will not reproduce any third-party copyrighted material without appropriate authorisation. Artwork created by our design team for you becomes your property upon full payment; we retain the right to use finished printed samples in our portfolio unless you expressly request otherwise in writing.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a print order shall not exceed the value of that specific order.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profit or business opportunity.
• We are not responsible for errors in content that were present in client-supplied artwork and not caught during the pre-press check.
• We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including power outages, equipment failure, or supply chain disruptions.

12 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.

We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any issue before pursuing formal proceedings. We are committed to fair and prompt resolution of genuine complaints.
